Walter Elbert “Pete” Ogle of Festus, Mo.

Passed away March 15, 2005, at the age of 90, in Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Crystal City, Mo. 

He was born June 15, 1914, in Hematite, Mo. 

A retired glassworker from Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. in Crystal City, Mo, 

and a former member of First Baptist Church of Festus /Crystal City, Mo.

After retirement, Walter and his wife moved to Shell Knob, Mo.

Walter is survived by two sons;

Dr. Michael E. Ogle of Solvang, CA and Dr. Walter Thomas Ogle of Bell Air, Maryland, 

three sisters; Nancy Hill of Festus, Mo, Flora Bell Williams of St. Louis, Mo. and Doll Donnell of Festus, Mo. 

Also 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Marie Arvetta Ogle (nee Rhyneer) whom he married on June 21, 1935. 

Marie passed away September 25, 2004.

Also preceded in death by one son, Robert Lee Ogle and his parents, Robert Lee and Lealle May Ogle (nee Dorman)

Walter is to be cremated.

A joint Graveside Service for Walter and Marie will be held on Saturday March 19, 2005, 11:00 AM

at the Hematite Methodist Cemetery where Walter and his wife Marie’s cremains will be interred together.

Judy was cremated, her remains will be buried near her parents at the Herculaneum Cemetery - private service.
