He was the founder of American Boiler Company,  a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church. 

Thirty year plus member of the Masonic Lodge.

12 year member of the Hillsboro R-3 School Board and the National School Board Assoc.

Veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. 

Harry and Wanda were wed August 05, 1942,  in St. Louis, Missouri.

He is Survived by His wife, Wanda Nadine Hemphill Nee (Simpson) of Hillsboro

His Children, Richard C. (Janet) Hemphill, of Chesterfield, Mo, 

Douglas D. (Lynn) Hemphill of St. Louis, MO. and

Passed away on March 11, 2003 at the age of 82.

Beloved wife of the late Harry E. Hutter, Dear sister of Betty (Bill Gutjahr) Brown,

Fred, Don (Sylvia), Lloyd P. (Maryann), and the late Allan and Roy D. Hitchings.

Our dear Aunt, Great Aunt and Great Great Aunt.

Veteran of U.S. Army WW II, and a retired employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone.

Funeral: Friday, March 14, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home 103 Fourth St. Hillsboro Mo. 

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.

Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
