Thomas J. Newell, age 50, of Hillsboro, MO, passed away November
7,1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital,
Crystal City, MO. Tom was born in St. Louis, MO on June 10, 1949. He
is survived by his wife Susan W. Newell (nee Watson) of Hillsboro, MO whom
he married on May 4, 1974-, also survived by his father Merle Stanley Newell
of Branson, MO, his children Rebecca Kay Newell, Amanda Jane Newell, Alison
Elizabeth Newell, and Benjamin Thomas Newell, all of Hillsboro, MO, also
a brother Roger Stanley Newell of Branson, MO. Survived by two grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his mother Marion Elizabeth Newell (nee Smith).
Tom was a mernber of the Hillsboro Community Civic Club-, Redeemer
Lutheran Church, Desoto, MO, served on the
Hillsboro Police Board, was a former alderman for the city of Hillsboro,
Tom served on the Hillsboro Area Library Committee.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 13, 1999 at 10 am
at the Redeemer Lutheran Church 1620 Boyd St.
Desoto, MO. Fellowship will follow after the service at the church.
